Cairo Governorate, through the East Nasr City district of Cairo Governorate, launched a massive campaign to close and wax the Furniture World Showroom, located at Building 6, Sherif El-Sersawy Street, M8, for violating licenses, after it became clear that there was no license for the activity.

Major General Ahmed Gouda, head of the East Nasr City district, said that a massive campaign was launched to close and wax the Furniture World exhibition for furniture, at the address Building 6, Sherif El-Sersawy Street, M8, for violating the licenses, after examining the papers related to the activity, while it was found that it was managed without a license, and that there was no license for the activity. .
The head of the Nasr City district stressed the need to launch continuous campaigns to ensure that the necessary licenses are met for shops and commercial activities, in accordance with the directives and instructions of Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, on the necessity of confronting all types of violations, regardless of their form.
The concerned authorities called on the shop owner to quickly go to the licensing department in the district, to complete the required conditions, obtain official licenses, and legalize the situation.
Public Stores Law
Cairo Governorate is intensifying its daily campaigns against all establishments and stores that are run without a license, through the district executive agencies and the Directorate of Supply and Veterinary Medicine. It is also launching daily campaigns against restaurants. To determine the quality of food and the expiration date of food items provided to citizens, and to remove occupancy.
The Public Stores Law stipulated the conditions for commercial store licenses, stipulating that it is not permissible to open a commercial store without a license from the competent center, in accordance with the controls and requirements determined by the committee.
The Commercial Shops Law stipulates that anyone who operates a commercial store without obtaining a license will be punished with a fine of not less than 20,000 pounds and not more than 50,000 pounds, and the penalty amounts to imprisonment if they return for a period of not less than 6 months.
