The Health Affairs Directorate explained that the meeting stressed the need to allocate a team responsible for following up on accreditation centers and development work under the supervision of the Director of the Department, in addition to emphasizing the readiness of the selected centers for accreditation.
The Undersecretary of the Directorate for Preventive Medicine Affairs stressed circulating the policy model used in the Al-Hanager Center to all the nominated centers in a way that suits the nature of each center, creating files for all members of the medical team, and paying attention to medical registration and family files.
It directed the Undersecretary of the Directorate to contract with a security company to suit the nature of each medical center, prepare to issue licenses for generators, elevators, and x-ray devices, train at least 20% of the workforce on civil defense work in coordination with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and disseminate and implement infection control policies.
Earlier, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Khaleq, Undersecretary of the Directorate of Health Affairs in Cairo, met with hospital emergency managers and care project coordinators in the governorate, with the aim of identifying hospitals’ obstacles to quickly alleviating cases waiting for care.
