British Actor Tim Pigott-Smith Has Died Aged 70

British actor Tim Pigott-Smith has died at the age of 70, his agent John Grant has said.  His career spanned more than four decades on stage and screen and he was made an OBE in the 2017 New Year Honours list for his services to drama.

The Bafta-winner was best known for his 1984 TV series The Jewel in the Crown as well as numerous Broadway and West End roles
