President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, for hours, I have been speaking at length about the importance of localizing industries in Egypt, and with it the localization of technology. The president said that it is not a requirement that the technology be complex in order for me to answer him. This is because Egypt has lagged behind for many years in this issue of technology, especially since it A sector that is developing every hour and is the capital of developed countries that do not transfer their technology easily to any other country.
The secret behind President Sisi’s insistence on localizing technology with industry is that he is creating a purely Egyptian industry that can rely on itself while at the same time reducing the cost of local manufacturing and increasing the competitiveness of Egyptian manufactured products.
President Sisi was very logical in his words when he said that we established 25 universities in 10 years and doubled the number with universities that advance modern sciences so that we want to produce everything in Egypt, at least in the needs whose technologies are not complex. I mean, the establishment of all these universities was not by chance or random, like people. It was an innovative place, but its goal was to build a broad and sustainable base of human cadres who can innovate, innovate and develop in production and manufacturing technology and in all areas of the economy because the trained human worker The professional is an instrument of power for any country that wants to develop.

This means that an industry like the automobile industry depends on dozens of other factories, and there is no factory or car company that manufactures them from A to Z, even in international companies such as Mercedes, Toyota, and BMW. Manufacturing components in any industry creates a very big boom in other industries and provides job opportunities. At the same time, I have the power of the manufacturing state in that it can produce a final product within its factories without relying on importing any spare parts. At that time, we can say that we have a local industry, not just assembly.
In view of all that we have said, the Minister of Industry, Lieutenant General Kamel, is working on an important plan to increase the local component in the industries that the Ministry is establishing now, on the condition that full quality is guaranteed.
