It is noteworthy that last November 10, the Criminal Department of the Aswan Courts Complex heard the second witness in the case of his cousin’s killer after she refused to agree to his engagement. He was the victim’s fiancé at the time and who was sitting next to her when the crime occurred, in addition to hearing the Public Prosecution’s pleading regarding the case. The victim’s defense case is lawyer Hussein Adel.
The Criminal Department of the Aswan Courts Complex held sessions during the last period in the case of the killer of his cousin after she refused to agree to his engagement, during which it listened to eyewitnesses to the murder, namely: the mother, the forensic doctor, and the investigations of the detectives as well regarding the case and the arrest of the accused.
The story of the Aswan bride
The details of the incident go back to the first day of December 2023, when the village of Al-Mamariye in the city of Al-Busayliyah in the Edfu Center in Aswan Governorate witnessed the death of a girl at the hands of her cousin, who shot her with a gunshot, which led to her death, because he wanted to propose to her, but she agreed to propose to someone else, and it happened. Transfer the body to the morgue to take the necessary procedures.
The warden of Edfu Police Station received a report stating that a girl had died after being shot by her cousin inside her home. She took her last breath immediately.
The security authorities moved to the scene of the accident to conduct preliminary investigations and it turned out that her cousin killed her because she refused to marry him and got engaged to someone else.
It turned out that the deceased was called Sabra Abdel Nasser Ahmed, 18 years old, from the village of Al-Mamariye in the city of Al-Busayliyah.
The necessary report was drawn up regarding the incident and the Public Prosecution was notified to begin its investigations into it.
