Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Foundation for Hajj Facilitation, announced that applications are open for members of civil society organizations wishing to perform the Hajj for the Hajj season 1446 AH – 2025 AD, starting next Sunday, November 17, until Thursday, November 28. Noting that any application submitted after this date will not be considered.
The Minister of Social Solidarity confirmed, while chairing the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the National Foundation for Hajj Facilitation, that in light of the decision of the Supreme Committee for Hajj, headed by the Prime Minister, 12,000 visas have been allocated to be implemented through the National Foundation for Hajj Facilitation, affiliated with the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
Dr. Maya Morsi thanked the Board of Trustees of the National Hajj Facilitation Foundation for all the efforts provided to the pilgrims of the civil society organizations, which made it distinguished and gained the respect and appreciation of everyone.
The Minister of Social Solidarity explained that the Ministry is keen to provide the best distinguished services to pilgrims of associations, so the Board of Trustees of the National Foundation for Hajj Facilitation was assigned to finalize all contracts related to the Hajj trip, noting that an electronic lottery will be conducted on the centrally unified Hajj portal to choose the winning pilgrims for all governorates according to the percentage The number of applications submitted in each governorate, according to the available levels, with a supervisor allocated for every 46 pilgrims, as the public electronic lottery is scheduled to be conducted centrally on the unified Egyptian Hajj portal. In the presence of representatives from each governorate during the middle of next December, the final results of the lottery will be announced on the website of the Ministry and the National Foundation for Hajj Facilitation and published in the social directorates and administrations.
For his part, Mr. Ayman Abdel Mawjoud, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity for Civil Work Affairs and Executive Director of the National Foundation for Hajj Facilitation, confirmed that the Ministry has set a number of conditions that must be met by those wishing to perform the Hajj for this season, including that he be a member of the General Assembly of the civil association registered as a member when submitting the application. The annual subscription must be paid, whether an active member or an affiliate, and the association or institution must be registered before June 30, 2024 AD, and no one has signed the association or institution.
