Syrian media reported that all prisoners were released from the central prison in the city Suwayda After gunmen took control of it, there were violent clashes in the city.
The Suwayda Operations Room said: The armed factions control the Baath Party building, the law enforcement brigade, and the central prison in Suwayda.
Clashes between militants and Syrian security forces
Reuters reported from sources that Druze militants control the main police station in the city of Suwayda and one of the prisons, noting that at least 3 individuals were killed in clashes between gunmen and Syrian security forces in the city of Suwayda.
The local factions in Suwayda said: We took control of the State Security headquarters in the city of Shahba in the countryside of Suwayda.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that the city of Suwayda has become outside the control of the Syrian government.
On the other hand, the Syrian armed opposition said: We took control of the city of Al-Harak and the 52nd Brigade in the eastern countryside of Daraa city.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights noted that the armed factions attacked the Military Intelligence Department in the city of Daraa, which resulted in the capture of all its members.
Arab media said that the vicinity of the city of Rastan in Homs was subjected to artillery shelling after the armed organizations announced their control over it.
