Al-Sisi signs a joint declaration to raise relations between Egypt and Denmark to the level of strategic partnership and launch a business council between the two countries

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, said: I would like to express my happiness to visit Denmark, as the first Egyptian president to visit the city of Copenhagen, since diplomatic relations between the two countries began in 1922.

Al-Sisi added during his speech at the press conference he held with: Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, as part of his visit to Denmark: I cannot fail to praise the warm reception I have experienced since our arrival in Denmark at the beginning of my tour of the northern European countries, which reflects the authenticity of this civilized country, the sincere intention of Denmark and the fruitful cooperation between the two countries.

Al-Sisi added: The meeting with the Danish Prime Minister witnessed expanded discussions in the presence of the two delegations and leaders of the two countries, in order to advance bilateral relations between the two countries in all sectors and fields, political, economic and cultural, as crystallized in the signing of a joint declaration to raise the level of relations between the two countries to the level of a strategic partnership and the launch of The Egyptian-Danish Business Council, and the signing of a number of memorandums of understanding.
