Engineer Tariq Al-Nabrawy, Head of the Engineers Syndicate, opened the Engineers Club in New Sohag City, in the presence of Engineer Hossam Al-Zaghawi, President of the Sub-Union in Sohag, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hadi, Deputy Governor on behalf of Major General Dr. Abdel Fattah Siraj, Governor of Sohag, a number of members of the House of Representatives, and members of the Syndicate’s Board of Directors. And a group of engineers.
At the beginning of his speech, Al-Nabrawy said: I welcome the gentlemen in attendance and the engineers of Sohag, whom I am very proud of the affection that has united me with them for many years, and I extend my congratulations to them for this achievement that will serve all the engineers of Sohag, stressing that the opening of the club represents an important step in strengthening the social role of the union and achieving the interests of its members. .
The “Captain of the Engineers Syndicate” added: Our opening of this club adds a new, distinct origin to the origins of the union. It also confirms that the Engineers Syndicate is not satisfied with slogans, but is working on the ground to ensure the provision of appropriate social services to engineers in all sub-unions and governorates. These are slogans that we raised years ago, and today they are being realized. On the ground, we promise during the coming period to complete the work to provide more services.
Al-Nabrawy said: In this regard, I would like to point out that a few days ago, we opened expansions and a new building in the sub-union in Ismailia, and laid the foundation stone for the Engineers Club in Qena, and in the Luxor Syndicate, work is underway to establish its facilities and a club for its engineers, stressing interest in developing all clubs. Providing union services to all engineers in the governorates of the Republic, noting that the union, represented in its office and council, places as its top priority the task of defending the engineering profession and the rights of engineers.
Engineer Tariq Al-Nabrawy also expressed his thanks to the Governor of Sohag for his constant support for all professional unions.
In turn, the Deputy Governor conveyed the greetings of the Governor to the General Syndicate of Engineers and to all attendees, noting that the fruitful cooperation between the governorate and the Engineers Syndicate in many development projects on the land of Sohag, congratulated the engineers on the opening of this new edifice, indicating that the club will contribute to supporting the governorate’s engineers and providing… They have a suitable environment to develop their skills and enhance their role in the development of society, stressing the importance of cooperation between all government agencies and professional unions to achieve sustainable development in all fields.
At the conclusion of the opening, Engineer Hossam Al-Zaghawi expressed his happiness with this achievement, calling on all engineers in Sohag to benefit from the services provided by the club and work to develop their skills for the benefit of society.
The new club, which was established on an area of 13,000 square meters, includes a “social building, a five-a-side court, a swimming pool, a landscape, and a cafeteria,” to form a community center that enhances communication between engineers and provides them with opportunities for professional and social development.
