The club treasurer continued: Al-Ahly does not have financial crises, and its budget has doubled and reached more than 7 billion pounds, and the surplus exceeds 600 thousand pounds, and the higher the revenues, the greater the expenses and requirements.
Khaled Murtaji continued: Al-Ahly spends from 1,400,000 to 2 million dollars a month, the football budget exceeds a billion pounds, and Al-Ahly’s sports activity losses exceed 300 million pounds.
Khaled Murtaji continued: There are fans of Al-Ahly Club who give the club money in dollars and take it in Egyptian pounds, and all of this is legal, with the knowledge of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Murtaji continued: Sports federations, apart from the Football Association, receive 500,000 pounds for bringing in a foreign coach, and we paid 22 million pounds to the federations this year, on top of which is 7 million to the handball federation.
