This came within the framework of the directives of Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and Dr. Ahmed Essam, Head of the Agricultural Services Sector, and the keenness of the Central Administration of Agricultural Quarantine to meet the wishes of potato farmers and producers.
Quantities of imported potato seeds weekly
The report will provide the weekly quantities of imported potato seeds for all imported varieties and all origins, and compare the imported quantities with their counterparts from the previous year in the same period.
Earlier, Engineer Mohamed Salah El-Din Mustafa, Minister of State for Military Production, received Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and an accompanying delegation, at the Ministry of Military Production headquarters in the government district of the New Administrative Capital.
The Minister of State for Military Production began the meeting by welcoming the attendees, stressing the existence of permanent fruitful cooperation between the Ministries of Military Production and Agriculture to implement many projects that benefit the Egyptian citizen.
He pointed out that the meeting aims to follow up on the latest developments and implementation rates of joint cooperation projects between the two sides, including systems for mechanizing agricultural quarantine services, exports and imports, as well as a project to develop the zoo and Orman parks.
Minister Mohamed Salah stressed that the joint cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation comes within the framework of the policy pursued by the Ministry of Military Production to contribute to the implementation of national and development projects in cooperation with various agencies in the country within the framework of its sustainable development plan for the benefit of citizens by benefiting from what the affiliated agencies possess. The Ministry has human, technical, technological and manufacturing expertise, pointing out the keenness of military production companies and units to implement the projects assigned to them with the highest efficiency in accordance with international standards while adhering to the timelines specified for implementation.
