Today, the Fuwa Criminal Court in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, headed by Counselor Khaled Qotb Badr El-Din, President of the Court and the Circuit, and the membership of Counselors Muhammad Mabrouk Abdel-Aty, as a deputy, Ahmed Mustafa Qandil, as a deputy, and Mustafa Jalal Amer, as counsellor, and Ahmed Al-Maidani’s secretariat, will resume the trial of an accused of killing his wife in bed. The marital court decided, in its last session, to place him in a psychiatric hospital for 45 days.
The court had assigned specialist doctors to present a detailed report to the court to demonstrate the soundness of his mental and nervous faculties.

The investigating authorities referred Ahmed. M. M. A, 28 years old, a worker, residing in the village of Al-Jazeera Al-Khadra, affiliated to the Motobas Center, was taken to the Fuwa Criminal Court, to be tried for what was charged against him because on January 28, 2024, in the Motobas Police Station, he deliberately killed his wife, the victim, Safaa. S. Yes, with premeditation, when he was with her in their bedroom and took advantage of her sleep and tightened his grip on her neck, suffocating her, causing her injury that claimed her life.
