Zawiyat Al-Naora Hospital, affiliated with the Health Directorate in Menoufia, has resumed performing orthopedic surgeries after a pause that lasted for an entire year.
This came in implementation of the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Menoufia, to provide high-quality health services that meet the needs of citizens, and under the patronage of Dr. Osama Abdullah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Menoufia, and under the supervision of Dr. Ihab Tahoun, Director of Zawiyat Al-Naora Hospital, where the first joint stabilization surgery was performed in the hospital after a cessation of more than a year from performing orthopedic surgeries.

Dr. Osama Abdullah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Menoufia, confirmed the success of the surgical operation, as the joint was stabilized for a patient who was suffering from a health condition that required urgent surgical intervention. This comes within the framework of the hospital administration’s efforts to reactivate the orthopedic department and provide distinguished medical services to citizens in the region.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Menoufia explained that this achievement is an important step towards enhancing medical services at Zawiyat Al-Naoura Hospital, and reflects the Ministry of Health’s interest in developing health facilities and improving the level of medical care provided to citizens.
Dr. Osama Abdullah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Menoufia, visited the joint laboratory of the directorate, on an inspection tour, with the aim of checking on the progress of work inside the laboratory and providing the best health services to citizens.
Dr. Osama listened to a detailed explanation from those responsible for the laboratory about the services provided to citizens and the procedures used in examining various medical samples. He stressed the importance of laboratories in providing accurate diagnostic services, and called for the necessity of adhering to health standards to ensure the safety of patients.
He also stressed the need to improve the work environment inside the laboratory by developing devices and equipment and training medical and technical personnel, to ensure the provision of medical services at the highest level.
It is noteworthy that the joint laboratory is considered one of the vital facilities in the governorate, as it conducts accurate medical analyzes that serve all hospitals and health centers in the region.
The Undersecretary was accompanied by Sabri Hassan, Director General of Financial and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Askari, Director of the Preventive Medicine Department, Dr. Noha Al-Samri, Director of the Laboratories Department, Dr. Azza Abdel Moneim, Director of the Joint Laboratory, and Dr. Khaled Al-Haj, Deputy Director of the Food Department in the Directorate.
