The local unit of the center and city of Berket El-Saba in Menoufia Governorate, in cooperation with the Electricity and Civil Protection Company, dealt with a report of a fallen tree and an electricity pole, coinciding with the wave of weather fluctuations that the governorate is witnessing, within the framework of the directives of Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Menoufia, to quickly resolve emergency crises and disasters at the time. To reduce the aggravation of problems and eliminate them in a timely manner.
A tree and an electricity pole fell in Menoufia
Waheed Abd Rabbo, head of the center and the city, accompanied by Bassem Maher, deputy head of the center, headed to Kafr Alim Road immediately after a tree and an electric pole fell. The tree and branches were immediately dealt with and the thing was removed and the thing returned to its origin, out of concern for the safety of the citizens and within the framework of immediately dealing with any crises or dangers facing the citizens.
For its part, the Menoufia Water and Sanitation Company raised the degree of preparedness to deal with the expected weather and rain wave, as the Menoufia Water and Sanitation Company vehicles were stationed in various parts of the governorate, in preparation for the expected rain, based on warnings from the Meteorological Authority.
Rushdi Al-Sayed Omar, head of the Menoufia Water and Sanitation Company, directed that the state of emergency be lifted in all of the company’s branches to confront the possible wave of torrential rains and torrent, and to confirm the readiness of sewage networks and stations, and to continue stationing vacuum trucks in places exposed to water accumulations so as not to affect the regularity of traffic movement.
The head of the Menoufia Water Company explained that a comprehensive, proactive plan has been developed to disinfect sewage networks, sewer drains, and rain filters to receive rainwater, as well as remove dust from them to prevent rainwater from accumulating in the streets and squares, and not to impede the traffic of citizens, and to avoid obstructing the movement of cars.
