A member of the Authority’s Media Center revealed Meteorology Dr. Manar Ghanem, the weather forecast today, explaining that the southern governorates are affected by a depression, resulting in rain, in the governorates of Alexandria, Kafr El-Sheikh, Beheira, Dakahlia, Port Said and Matrouh.

A member of the media center at the Meteorological Authority added, during a television intervention, that the depression continues, but the level of rain is decreasing, and will be moderate to light and may be thundery, and not heavy in the aforementioned governorates.
She pointed out that Cairo will be affected by drops in temperature, and the temperature today in Cairo is 25 degrees, and that the weather is autumn, and that in the evening there will be noticeable drops.
While the Authority indicated in a statement that the country is witnessing a drop in temperatures, the country is also witnessing cold weather at night and early in the morning, and the temperature is moderate during the day, in all parts of the country.
Regarding the expected weather phenomena, the Mediterranean Sea has a light to moderate weather condition, with waves rising from 1.52 to 1.75 metres, and the Red Sea has a moderate weather condition, with waves rising from 1.5 to 2.25 metres.
