The security and regulatory services at the Ministry of Interior and Giza Governorate were able to seize a facility that produces meat products (luncheon, sausage, and burgers) using poultry skins and bones, and inside it were 5 tons of seized paper.
A quantity of 5 tons of poultry skins, bones, and fats were seized, as well as quantities of the final product. The facility and the refrigerator were sealed and sealed with its contents. The equipment used in manufacturing, including mincers, manufacturing devices, scales, and others, was seized and confiscated. Legal measures are being taken and presented to the Public Prosecution to initiate investigations.
Giza Governorate, through the Supply Directorate and in cooperation with Al-Warraq District, directed a number of control and follow-up campaigns to markets to prevent price manipulation and ensure the safety of traded meat, poultry, processed fish, and maintain the security and safety of citizens.
Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, urged the heads of neighborhoods, centers and cities to intensify oversight campaigns to control markets in coordination with the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade and the regulatory and security agencies to control violations and ensure the safety of traded goods.
The governor was briefed on the efforts of the campaigns that resulted in the seizure of an unlicensed facility in the Warraq neighborhood that produces meat products (burgers, sausages, and luncheon meats) using skins, bones, and wings of poultry, in a new strike directed by the catering services against violating facilities that tamper with the health and safety of citizens.
