22 people were injured in a traffic accident, a short while ago, in the Farafra center in the New Valley Governorate.
Major General Mohamed Hamed, Director of New Valley Security, received a notification from the Emergency Police Department stating that people injured in a traffic accident had arrived at Farafra Central Hospital.
It was found that a semi-truck overturned on the Ain Dalla-Farafra road in the 15th kilometer area of the road, resulting in the injury of Houria Hamdi Abdel Moneim, 19 years old, Hamdi Abdel Moneim El Sayed, 42 years old, Hanaa Abdel Aziz Abdel Halim, 45 years old, and Kamel El Baz Ramadan. , 45 years old, Houria Ibrahim Ahmed, 24 years old, Ahmed Ibrahim Ahmed, 12 years old, Nigar Hamdi Abdel Moneim. Al-Sayed, 18 years old, Reda Nassif Khalaf, 17 years old.
Also injured were: Haneen Abdel Moneim Al-Sayed, 18 years old, Muhammad Mohsen Misbah, 18 years old, Muhammad Ali Abdel Hamid, 21 years old, Ahmed Ibrahim Saeed, 25 years old, Amr Saad Abdel Qader, 18 years old, Youssef Mustafa Muhammad, 14 years old, Muhammad Alaa Muhammad. , 24 years old, Saleh Abdel Hadi Abdel Hamid, 22 years old, Reda Abdel Hadi Abdel Hamid, 27 years old.
Reda Nasser Ramadan, 17 years old, Muhammad Adel Al-Baz, 19 years old, Tariq Al-Desouki, Amer Ibrahim, 22 years old, Gamal Abdel Moneim Al-Sayed, 50 years old, and Islam Muhammad Al-Khalai, 20 years old, all of whom were residents of the Farafra center, were also wounded.
Ambulances moved to the scene of the accident and transferred the injured to Al-Farafra Central Hospital to receive treatment, while it was decided to transfer some of the injured cases to Assiut University Hospital and Al-Azhar University Hospital in Assiut.
A report was drawn up regarding the incident, the Public Prosecution was notified to initiate investigations, and the equipment of the Traffic Unit and the Local Unit was moved to the Farafra Center to remove traces of the accident from the road and restore traffic to normal.
