The local unit of the city of Shalatin, south of the Red Sea, headed by Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Banna, implemented a campaign to remove encroachments on state lands, within the framework of the directives of Major General Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, on the necessity of preserving state property and confronting encroachments.

Al-Banna assigned the Encroachments Committee to follow up on building violations and firmly confront attempts to seize state lands. The campaign resulted in the removal of encroachments behind the area of slum alternatives housing units, where an area of 625 square meters of state property was recovered.
This move comes within the framework of the governorate’s ongoing efforts to implement the law and preserve people’s rights StateAnd to ensure that its lands are not infringed.
The local unit confirmed the continuation of its campaigns to address any violations, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership on the necessity of preserving public property and deterring violators.
