Cairo University opens a permanent outlet to sell publications of the National Center for Translation at discounted prices

I opened Cairo UniversityIt is a permanent outlet for selling the National Center for Translation’s publications at the headquarters of Cairo University’s Center for Development and Community Partnerships, to be a window for interaction between the university and cultural institutions, and to enhance the university’s role in serving society and supporting knowledge.

The opening took place under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq, President of Cairo University, and under the supervision of Dr. Ghada Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and in the presence of Dr. Karma Sami, Director of the National Center for Translation at the Ministry of Culture, and Dr. Hisham Zaghloul, Director of the Cairo University Center for Development and Community Partnerships.

The outlet includes a variety of translations that meet the needs of researchers and students in various disciplines, which includes works by senior translators and university professors.

The permanent outlet for selling the National Center for Translation’s publications aims to provide the Center’s publications at reduced prices of up to 50% to all university members, within the framework of the university’s keenness to support scientific and cultural research among its students and professors, and to activate continuous cooperation between Cairo University and the Ministry of Culture.

Earlier, Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq, President of Cairo University, received in his office Ambassador Ok Saron, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Cairo, and his accompanying delegation, to discuss ways of joint cooperation in the research and academic fields.

Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq stressed that Cairo University, with its leadership, is keen to strengthen academic and research cooperation with major universities in East Asian countries, and there are cooperation agreements concluded with China, Japan, South Korea and other countries in the region.
