Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, arrived this evening in the Republic of Azerbaijan, to participate on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in the high-level segment of the twenty-ninth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), over the course of two days. November 12 and 13.

Upon arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, accompanied by Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, the Prime Minister was received by Waqar Mustafayev, Minister of Defense Industries of Azerbaijan, and Ambassador Hisham Nagy, Egyptian Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to deliver a speech, on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, as part of the program of public speeches for world leaders and heads of government participating in the COP29 climate summit.
