Conflicting news in Syria, between armed factions –SDF- The Syrian government is now concerned about controlling Deir ez-Zor, as each party has announced that it controls the city.
The SDF announced its entry into the city of Deir ez-Zor, and crossing the west of the Euphrates after the Syrian army withdrew.
She added: Our forces deployed in Deir ez-Zor and west of the Euphrates, and our goal in advancing in Deir ez-Zor is to protect our security and the security of our people.
SDF curses its control over the Albukamal crossing
Reuters said that the SDF factions now control the Albukamal border crossing with Iraq.
An Iraqi security source said that there is no decision yet on closing the Al-Qaim crossing with Syria after the armed SDF factions took control of it.
While the Syrian government denied the withdrawal of government forces from Deir ez-Zor, saying: There is no truth to the reports about the evacuation of police and army points in Deir ez-Zor.
Syrian media explained that there was a Syrian and Russian air strike targeting areas in the city of Homs, killing 7 individuals and wounding 6 others.
