Today, Qalyubia Governorate witnessed several events over the past 24 hours, the most prominent of which was the disruption of traffic on the Banha-Mansoura highway in front of the beginning of the Kafr Shukr upper bridge, in the direction of Dakahlia Governorate, as a result of a collision between a heavy truck and a semi-truck.
3 people were injured in a two-car collision in Qalyubia
The accident occurred as a result of the car driver’s attempt to overtake the truck from the right side. The injured were transferred to Kafr Shukr Specialist Hospital to receive treatment. The necessary measures were taken, a report was drawn up on the incident, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
Kafr Shukr Police Station received a notification from Colonel Amr Salem, the station’s warden, stating that the accident had occurred, as a truck collided with a pickup truck that was loaded with citizens.
The driver of the car tried to overtake the truck before the start of the overhead bridge, resulting in three people being injured. The injured were taken to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
The accused was arrested for killing one person and wounding another
The investigation authorities ordered the imprisonment of the accused of killing one person and wounding another, in the Al-Qatawi area in Bahtim, in the second district of Shubra Al-Kheima, Qalyubia Governorate, due to previous disputes between them.
The investigating authorities in Qalyubia also ordered the assignment of forensic medicine to perform an autopsy on the body of the deceased and authorize the burial afterwards, and requested investigations by the police into the incident and its circumstances.

A workshop worker, residing in the Al-Qatawi area, district of the department, had a penetrating wound in the chest and a lifeless body. Two people were killed in a collision on Kafr Shukr Road

The security services of the Qalyubia Security Directorate immediately moved, and two ambulances were dispatched. Upon initial inspection, two people were killed in front of the Agricultural Development and Credit Bank in the village of Jamjara on the Banha-Kafr Shukr East Al-Riyah Al-Tawfiqi Free Road. They were transported to the hospital to take the necessary action, and the effects of the accident are being removed from both sides of the road.
