After the increase in the prices of internet packages came an increase in the prices of change cards, as mobile companies adjusted the prices of small denominations, prepaid “change” cards, after the increase in costs, and the new prices came as follows:

The 10-pound card, which used to provide a balance of 7 pounds, is now priced at 13 pounds and gives a balance of 9.1 pounds.
The 12.5-pound card, which used to provide a balance of 8.8 pounds, has increased in price to reach 16.5 pounds and gives a balance of 11.55 pounds.
The 15-pound card, which used to give a credit of 10.5 pounds, is now priced at 19.5 pounds and gives a credit of 13.65 pounds.
The 20-pound card, which used to provide a balance of 14 pounds, has increased in price to 26 pounds and gives a balance of 18.2 pounds.
The 29-pound card, which used to provide a balance of 20.3 pounds, is now priced at 38 pounds and gives a balance of 26.6 pounds.
It is noteworthy that Engineer Mohamed Shamroukh, Chairman of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, announced, on the sidelines of the Cairo ICT 2024 Conference and Exhibition, last November, that the facility had initially agreed to mobile companies to study moving service prices in conjunction with the rise in operating costs.
Mobile companies will begin implementing the increase in the prices of change cards, starting today, Friday, as the companies modified the cards and their denominations, and the 10-pound change card was cancelled.
