Alexandria witnessed various events monitored by Cairo 24, during the past hours, the most prominent of which came under the following headlines: the opening of the one-day market in Mandara in Alexandria, the postponement of all matches of the buddy and junior competitions in Alexandria due to bad weather conditions, the rains of Nowa Qasim hitting Alexandria, and the Alexandria Governorate raises the level of maximum preparedness. Expired food products were seized during ration campaigns in Alexandria.

Buds matches postponed
The Egyptian Football Federation Competitions Committee in the Alexandria branch decided to postpone all matches of the senior and junior competitions, which were held yesterday, Wednesday, starting at one o’clock in the afternoon.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled Hassan Saeed, Governor of Alexandria, confirmed that the degree of preparedness in all districts of the governorate has been raised to deal with the current storm and the Meteorological Authority’s forecasts, which indicate that the governorate will be exposed to rain of varying intensity, ranging from light to moderate, at intermittent periods.
The Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Alexandria launched control campaigns in the center of the governorate, which resulted in issuing reports of possession and offering for sale cigarettes of unknown origin and expired food goods, and seizing 212 packs of cigarettes of unknown origin, 48 packages of expired milk, 13 types of expired candy, and 25 boxes of expired crackers. .
