Mimi Gamal recently participated in the series Omar Effendi, whose events revolved around a man suffering from problems in his family life. By coincidence, he finds a basement in his house that can take him back in time to the year 1943, only to find himself living a double life. The series consists of 15 episodes.

A group of artists participated in the full-issue series, Ramadan Al-Masti for the year 2024, alongside the artist Dina El-Sherbiny and Sherif Salama. The work also witnessed a special appearance by the artist Isaad Younes, and Sedqi Sakhr, Jihan Al-Shamasherji, Mimi Gamal, Ahmed Kamal, Tamim Abdo, and Olfat Imam are also co-starring.
