The meeting witnessed the presence of Brigadier General Abdullah Shalabi, Secretary General of the Arab Basketball Federation, Captain Wael Lotfy, Director General of the Arab Federation, and Awad Sami, Director of Public Relations of the Arab Federation, at the Federation’s headquarters in the Sports Federations Complex.
The meeting was attended by members of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Basketball Federation, Mohamed Fathi and Mostafa Ibrahim, and Counselor Mohamed Muharram, Ayman Ali and Naira Mohamed.
Major General Ismail Al-Gergawi was keen to congratulate the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Basketball Federation for gaining the confidence of the General Assembly in the recent elections, and wished the officials of the Basketball Federation success in managing the game during the coming period.
For his part, Amr Moselhi appreciated the visit of the Arab Basketball Federation, and thanked the Federation’s officials for this visit and congratulated the new council, praising the role of the Arab Basketball Federation in developing the game during the coming period.
Amr Moselhi confirmed that the Egyptian Basketball Federation is looking forward to increasing cooperation with the Arab Federation, developing the game and increasing its spread throughout the Arab world, taking advantage of the successes achieved by basketball over the past years.
