The center and city of Qaleen in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate witnessed a complete cut off of drinking water to the center and the city, for a period of 5 hours today, Tuesday, in order to carry out disinfection and sterilization work at the Qalin drinking water station.
For its part, the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate issued a statement in which it announced that water would be cut off from the center and city of Qalin, affecting all its districts, as of today, Tuesday, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. today, for a period of 5 continuous hours.
The Kafr El-Sheikh Water and Sanitation Company attributed the outage to the cessation of the Qalin 100 liter/s water station due to disinfection and sterilization work inside the station.
The Drinking Water and Sanitation Company called on the officials of hospitals, service and health institutions, citizens, bakery owners, and school principals to manage their water needs during the aforementioned period, and until the pumping of drinking water returns again, and the station returns to operating at full capacity, as the company arranged potable water trucks located in the affected areas and in case He asked her to call the hotline 125 from the landline.
