Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, stated that citizens’ requests are currently being received to reserve the largest offering of residential lands for individuals in new cities, which includes 8,521 residential plots of land in the medium, distinguished and most distinguished housing axes in 20 new cities, as of Monday 1/6/ 2025 through the website of the “Maskan – Land Axis” program.

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny explained that, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, the Ministry of Housing, represented by the New Urban Communities Authority, is working to expand the offering of residential lands of various types, in order to meet the increasing demand for lands in new cities, and to advance their development. And fulfilling the desire of citizens of all segments to build their own housing in accordance with the requirements, and achieving the required development.
In this context, Dr. Hassan Al-Shorbaji, Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority for the Real Estate and Commercial Affairs Sector, explained that for medium housing plots, 3,678 plots of land were made available, including 223 plots of land in the city of West Qena, 31 plots of land in New Assiut City, and 1,270 plots of land. Land in Sadat City, 60 plots of land in Badr City, 150 plots of land in New Beni Suef City, 122 plots of land in October Gardens City, 204 plots of land in New Thebes City, 495 plots of land in New Minya City, and 1123 plots of land in Burj Al Arab City. Al-Shorbaji added that for the distinguished housing plots, 4,747 plots of land were made available: 159 plots in the new city of Akhmim, 129 plots of land in the new city of Sohag, 149 plots of land in the new city of Qena, 66 plots of land in the new city of Fayoum, and 417 plots of land in the new Nasser city. 298 plots of land in New Aswan City, 321 plots of land in New Mallawi City, 1270 plots of land in 10th of Ramadan City, and 1938 plots of land in Sadat City.
The Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority for the Real Estate and Commercial Affairs Sector noted that 96 plots of land were also made available in the most distinguished housing plots, 87 plots of land in 6th of October City, 7 plots of land in Shorouk City, and 2 plots of land in Obour City.
