Club received Zamalek Notification from the Confederation of African Football, CAF, of the refereeing crew for the first-team football match against Enyimba of Nigeria, in the 2024-2025 African Confederation Cup.
Rwandan refereeing team to lead the match between Zamalek and Enyimba of Nigeria
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) notified Zamalek club officials of the selection of a refereeing team from Rwanda to officiate the club’s first football team’s match against Nigeria’s Enyimba, scheduled for December 8 in the second round of the group stage matches of the African Confederation Cup.
The arbitration team consists of Rwandan Jean-Claude Ishimwe as referee, assisted by his compatriots Saidi Ndisaba and Eric Mugabo as assistants, and Rwandan Rwirsa Fedele as fourth referee.
Ghanaian CAF chose Prosper Harrison Addo as general observer for the match, while referees Abdou Ali Mohammed from Djibouti, and general coordinator Jules Karangwa from Rwanda, are monitoring.
Zamalek will meet Enyimba of Nigeria on Sunday, December 8, at six in the evening, at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Nihiria.
It is worth noting that Zamalek won in the first round over the Mozambican champion Black Bulls with two unanswered goals, in the match that was held between them last Wednesday at Cairo International Stadium.
Zamalek concludes its training to face Ghazl El Mahalla in the league
Zamalek will conclude its training today at Abdul Latif Abu Rajila Stadium, before entering a closed camp in Tanta before facing Ghazl El Mahalla, scheduled for tomorrow evening, Monday, in the league competitions.
Zamalek is seeking to return to the train of victories after losing in the last round to the Al-Masry Al-Boussaidi team, after winning in the first and second round over the National Bank and Smouha teams.
