Hurghada and Marsa Alam hotels are preparing to receive Christmas and New Year’s celebrations in Red Sea hotels from all over the world amid unprecedented security tightening.

The hotels in the Red Sea cities were covered with decorations and illuminated Christmas and New Year trees on their facades and inside their various corners in preparation for the new year, as the hotels began preparing artistic elements to hold parties for their tourist clients.
Bashar Abu Talib, head of the Red Sea Tourist Guides Syndicate, confirmed that the hotel occupancy rate is expected to reach more than 85% in the Red Sea Governorate during the New Year and Christmas celebrations.
Abu Talib added in statements to Cairo 24 that it is expected that the arrival rates of different nationalities, especially the Germans, the English, and the Czechs, in Hurghada will increase, starting in mid-December.
Germans, English and Russians are the most present nationalities
The head of the Tourist Guides Syndicate explained that the Germans, English and Russians are among the nationalities keen to spend Christmas and New Year celebrations in hotels on the Red Sea coast, stressing that there are many tourists who prefer to stay in the same hotel every year for New Year celebrations.
Abu Talib confirmed that there are several resorts in Hurghada that will raise a full banner during the celebration of New Year’s holidays, such as El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh, south of Hurghada, and Soma Bay. Bsafaga.
In the city of Marsa Alam, tourism expert Abu Al-Hajjaj Al-Ammari confirmed that New Year’s occupancy expectations in Marsa Alam this year may be between 70 and 75%.
Al-Ammari pointed out in exclusive statements to Cairo 24 that most of Marsa Alam’s hotels prepared for the celebrations by hanging decorations, Christmas trees, and New Year’s lights, as the hotels lit up their facades in 2025.
