This evening, the city of St. Catherine was hit by a wave of severe cold due to low temperatures at night, as the temperature reached 4 degrees Celsius.
Ibrahim Abdel Halim, Director of Public Relations and Media in the City of St. Catherine, told Cairo 24 that the city of St. Catherine is exposed to a drop in temperatures during the night hours, and a wave of extreme cold two days ago, as the temperature reached 4 degrees Celsius.
Abdel Halim confirmed that the city of St. Catherine will witness a colder wave tomorrow evening, Sunday, as temperatures at night will reach 2 degrees Celsius, which will lead to a severe wave of cold, especially with the beginning of the winter season.
A resident of St. Catherine said that the city has been exposed to a cold wave since this evening, which led to the streets being empty of citizens, with people wearing heavy clothes, due to the extreme cold sweeping the city for the third day in a row.
He explained that despite the cold weather, the sky is clear and there are no clouds or clouds or air currents, but the cold is severe.
