The Qena Water and Sanitation Company announced that drinking water would be cut off from the Abu Shet center, with the exception of a number of villages, today, Monday, for a period of 8 hours.

The company explained in a statement that, due to the work of connecting the old tank to the new tank for the station’s expansions in preparation for the trial operation of the expansions, drinking water will be cut off from the Abu Tisht center with the exception of the villages of Abu Shusha, Al-Bahri Samhud, Al-Rawatib, Al-Awsat Samhud, Bani Barzeh, Al-Sharqi Samhud, and Sheikh Ali. , the city of Abu Tasht, and Al-Zaraib.
She indicated that drinking water will be cut off starting at 12 noon for a period of 8 hours, calling on citizens living in the affected areas to store their water needs until these works are completed and water can be pumped again.
