The body of a woman was found dumped in a sewage drain in Assiut
Major General Wael Nassar, Director of Assiut Security, received a notification from the Sheriff of Sahel Selim Police Station, stating that a report had been received from residents that the body of a woman was found dumped inside a sewage drain in one of the houses in the village of Al-Tanagha Al-Sharqiya in Sahel Selim Center in Assiut.
Security forces, investigation officers, and ambulances immediately moved to the site of the report, and upon examination and inspection it was found that the body of a woman who had been reported missing was found inside a sewage septic tank in a house in the village of Al-Tanaagha Al-Sharqiya in Sahel Selim Center in Assiut Governorate. The body was recovered and transferred to the morgue at the disposal of the Public Prosecution in Assiut.
A report has been drawn up regarding the incident, and the necessary legal measures are being taken and investigations are being initiated.
