Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian ruble is under control and there is no reason to panic about the currency’s performance.
Putin added in statements reported by the Russian TASS agency: There are tools to slow inflation, but the final decision rests with the central bank.
It is worth noting that the ruble fell against the dollar to its lowest level since the start of the war with Ukraine in March 2022.
