The pound sterling declined in a number of Egyptian banks, amounting to 12, today, Sunday, the first day of the week’s trading among Egyptian banks.

The pound sterling fell at the Arab International Bank, the Suez Canal Bank, and the Arab Investment Bank to a level between 63 and 64 pounds.
The pound sterling lost about 5 to 13 piasters in each of the National Bank of Kuwait, Banque Misr, Egyptian Real Estate, Egyptian Al-Ahly, Egyptian Gulf, and Faisal, and recorded a price between 63 and 64 pounds.
It also fell in the Commercial International Bank, Alexandria Bank, and the United Bank by a level between 7-12 piasters.
Last Wednesday, the Central Bank announced that Egypt’s net foreign exchange reserve, the largest amount of which is foreign currencies, sterling, and dollars, had risen to $46.942 billion at the end of October 2024, from $46.737 billion in September.
