According to what was reported by the Russian TASS agency, the Russian Foreign Minister indicated that the leaders of Russia and African countries took a decision to organize annual ministerial meetings, and that the conference resulted in a joint statement and a number of concrete agreements.

Lavrov added: I think we have worked very successfully. We have adopted documents and a joint statement that includes general assessments of the situation in the world, and general assessments of the state of affairs in our partnership, whether in the economic, social, investment and security fields, in the fight against terrorism and other new challenges, and, of course, in the cultural and educational fields. And humanity.

He added: These assessments were accompanied by concrete agreements in each of these areas, and road maps that will be promoted in the near future, including part of the preparations for the second event of this kind… the Second Ministerial Conference on Partnership between Russia and Africa.

The work of the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum began in the Russian city of Sochi, yesterday, Saturday, in which about 1,500 delegations participated, including 45 ministers from African countries.
