The General Authority of Meteorology revealed details of the weather condition in Egypt today, Monday, November 25, 2024, confirming that rain will extend to Cairo.
Rain reaches Cairo
The authority stressed during its statement that the country is witnessing cold weather at night and early in the morning, and the weather tends to be cold during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts, and the weather is moderately hot in South Sinai and the south of the country.
The Mediterranean Sea is witnessing a very turbulent state, with waves rising between 3 to 5 metres, and the Red Sea is witnessing a turbulent weather condition, with waves rising from 2.5 to 3 metres.
Violent weather phenomena
Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the Canal cities are witnessing chances of light rain that may be moderate in separate areas and intermittent periods. Winds are sometimes active at 30 km/h, and the weather is partly cloudy.
As for the northwestern coasts, there are chances of light rain that may be moderate in separate areas and intermittent periods. Winds will be active at a rate of 50 km/h, and the weather will be partly cloudy.
While the northeastern coasts and central Sinai are witnessing chances of moderate rain falling in separate areas and intermittent periods, winds are active at 44 km/h, and the weather is partly cloudy. South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges are witnessing wind activity at 36 km/h, and the weather is cloudy. As for North and South Upper Egypt, there are chances of light rain falling in separate areas and intermittent periods, wind activity at a rate of 34 km/h, and the weather is cloudy.
