An official source in the Directorate of Education in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate said that no decisions were issued regarding suspending the study today, Monday, whether for the morning or evening period, stressing that it is expected that the study will be regular in the morning period, especially with the beginning of the peak of the broomstick, which began in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate yesterday, Sunday. He stressed that the person who has the authority to disrupt studies within the governorate is Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Moati, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh.

The source continued, in exclusive statements to Cairo 24, that with regard to the evening period, all matters are subject to study, as if heavy rain may cause danger to students, the governor of Kafr El-Sheikh may issue a decision to suspend study, which is something that has actually happened over the past years, especially since the Authority Meteorology warned Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate of the wave that began yesterday and is expected to peak today.

Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Moati, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, announced the cessation of navigation and fishing in the port of Burullus and in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea within the governorate, until weather conditions improve, according to a report by the General Meteorological Authority that the north of the country is exposed to a wave of bad weather, which leads to disruption of maritime navigation. .

The Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh assigned the heads of centers and cities to immediately deal with the consequences of the possible climate changes that the governorate is witnessing, and to raise the level of readiness of the governorate’s agencies, to confront climate changes and to take all precautionary measures, stressing the continuation of efforts to maintain rain sewer and sewage networks, and maintain lighting poles.
