In a wonderful humanitarian gesture, the players of the Kafr El-Sheikh and Bani Obaid teams were keen to upload a picture of their late colleague Mohamed Shawky during a match between the two teams, in honor of the spirit of the young player who passed away last Tuesday after suffering a sudden heart attack during Kafr El-Sheikh’s match with Shabab Al-Qazzazin.
The match, which was held at the City Club Stadium in Kafr El-Sheikh, witnessed touching moments, as the players uploaded pictures of “Mohamed Shawky” wearing T-shirts bearing his name, as an expression of their deep sadness at his sudden departure and in appreciation for what he gave to football and his club.
This came in the presence of Dr. Makram Radwan, member of the House of Representatives in Dakahlia, president of the Beni Obaid Club, accountant Abdel Hamid Mustafa, president of Kafr Sports Club, and accountant Magdy Al-Zawawi, member of the Board of Directors of Kafr El-Sheikh Sports Club, and general supervisor of the football team.
For his part, Abdel Fattah Abdel Razek, the technical director of Kafr El Sheikh, expressed his deep sadness at the loss of the young player Mohamed Shawqi, stressing that “Shawqi” was a talented player with a high sportsmanship, and that the team will miss him very much and that he will remain in our hearts and we will never forget him.
