Security services arrested 5 people, including a “masked man,” who robbed a food truck on the agricultural road adjacent to the villages of Sades and Arafa, affiliated with the Biba Center in Beni Suef Governorate.
The security services seized the car used in the incident, firearms, and the cargo belonging to one of the food production companies. It was found that the five people, after seizing the car’s cargo and the amount of 60 thousand pounds, assaulted the car driver and the company’s representative, and fled to the Helwan area in Cairo. They were arrested and the advisor ordered Ahmed Attia, the first general attorney for the Beni Suef Prosecution Office, ordered the defendants to be detained for 4 days pending investigation.
Major General Osama Gomaa, Director of Beni Suef Security, received a notification from Major General Mohamed Al-Khouly, Director of Criminal Investigation, that 5 unknown persons had carried out an armed robbery on a foodstuff vehicle belonging to a private company in the Helun area. They assaulted the driver of the company vehicle and the company representative, and seized the vehicle’s cargo and a sum of money. 60,000 pounds were in the possession of the company representative and they fled, and the Baba prosecutor was notified to investigate.
Immediately, Major General Muhammad Al-Khouly, Director of Criminal Investigation, formed a search team that included investigation officers from the Biba Center. It turned out that 5 people from the Helwan area contacted the Crazy Market Company in the Helwan area and requested an order that included food products and had it delivered to them at the Biba Center. They sent them a location in front of the villages of Sades and Arafa. belonging to the Biba Center on the agricultural road. Immediately upon the car’s arrival in the area, the company representative and the car driver were surprised by 5 people. They stopped them, and one of them put a mask on his face, and they brandished firearms in their faces, and assaulted the company representative and the car driver. They seized food supplies and put them in their car, and seized an amount of 60 thousand pounds from the company representative, and fled.
Investigations confirmed that the five people included an accountant in one of the food companies in the Helwan area. After codifying the procedures, the Beni Suef Security Directorate sent a mission of investigation officers and arrested both (M.W.), 21 years old, who works in a foodstuffs company and W.M., 19 years old. M.M. 20 years and S.M. 20 years.
The seized items, including an electric shock, a mask, two firearms, and a car without license plates, were seized. The cargo they had stolen was also seized, and the prosecution ordered their detention for 4 days pending investigations.
