The Mexican Ambassador to Cairo thanked the Governor of Luxor on behalf of the people and government of Mexico. She also expressed her happiness with the cooperation in the restoration project of the TT 39 cemetery, as it is an important milestone of friendship and solidarity between the two countries that crowned the efforts of 20 years. She looks forward to more tourism cooperation between the two countries by opening a direct airline between the two countries in the near future.
For his part, the Governor of Luxor said that the State of Mexico was one of the first countries keen to establish diplomatic relations with Egypt since 1958, and its embassy was opened in Cairo in 1960, stressing the rapprochement and cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
