The local unit of the center and city of Metobas in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate received a bulletin from the Metobas Electrical Engineering Department, stating that electricity would be cut off from 10 areas and villages, for a period of 4 hours, alternating between the targeted areas, in order to carry out maintenance at the Metobas transformer station.

A statement issued by the local unit of the center and city of Motobas continued that the power outage will begin from seven in the morning until 11 noon, when the power will be cut off alternately for two hours for each area.
The statement issued by the local unit of the center and city of Metobas added that the areas affected by the power outage are the entire city of Metobas, the village of Barnbal, the village of Minyat Al-Murshid, the village of Kom Demis, the village of Khaleej Qebli, the coastal villages of Motobas, the village of Beni Bakkar, Ezbet Amr, and the village of Kamsion Sharq. Kamsion West, Al-Basrat Al-Ghalaya village.
The local unit of the center and city of Motobas appealed to citizens and officials of government and service institutions, especially bakeries and hospitals, to arrange for their electricity needs during the power outage and until it returns again.
