The head of the Coalition of Old Real Estate Owners indicated that the proposals being considered include gradually increasing rents, as solutions include increasing the rent value to a minimum of 5,000 pounds for commercial and 2,000 pounds for residential, while specifying rental periods of up to three years for residential and 16 months for commercial.
Mustafa Abdel Rahman, head of the Old Real Estate Owners’ Coalition, thanked and appreciated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his role in activating the old rental law, saying: “All people are happy and happy; “The president did us justice by enforcing the law.”
Mustafa Abdel Rahman added during his meeting with the journalist Ahmed Moussa on the program “On My Responsibility” broadcast on Sada El Balad channel, “When the law was activated, hysteria came to us, as we have been living in oppression and injustice for 70 years.”
The head of the coalition of old real estate owners continued: “People were paying 2 and 3 pounds per apartment in Heliopolis and Garden City, and there were apartments that were paid by pennies.”
