Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, held his regular meeting yesterday evening, Tuesday, to follow up on the implementation status of the units of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in the cities of (New Beni Suef – New Sohag – New Alamein – New Rashid – New October), and Port Said Governorate, In addition to following up on the position of the West Carrefour Masts Project in Alexandria Governorate, in the presence of officials from the Ministry, the Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Support Fund, and the New Urban Communities Authority.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny began the meeting by reviewing the position of offering and implementing the housing units that will be delivered within 3 years by announcing “Housing for All Egyptians 5,” stressing the need to adhere to the specified dates and choose the best contracting companies to implement these units, stressing that he will permanently follow up the position of implementing these units. The Minister of Housing also reviewed the reports of field visits conducted by members of his technical office to the sites of implementation of the presidential initiative units in a number of new cities and governorates, stressing the necessity of compressing implementation rates, adhering to specific timetables, periodically following up on all implementation stages, excluding lagging companies, and dividing work among a number of projects. One of the companies that is serious about quickly completing units on the specified dates, with the highest quality, and delivering them to those who deserve them.
