Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Qalyubia, held his weekly meeting in the city of Kafr Shukr, where he listened to the complaints and suggestions of a large number of citizens from the centers of Banha, Toukh, and Kafr Shukr.
The meeting witnessed immediate decisions being made to resolve many pressing issues that directly affect the lives of citizens. The governor was able to provide the necessary support to a family suffering from difficult circumstances, as he provided a solidarity and dignity pension to the father of a child suffering from a mental and behavioral disability, in order to cover the expenses of treating the child and providing He also directed to provide decent housing for a divorced woman who supports six children, and contacted Dr. Nasser El-Gizawi, President of Benha University, to exempt her children from university fees, which represents a glimmer of hope for this family in facing life’s challenges.
The governor was keen to empower young people and provide them with job opportunities, as he was able to provide a suitable job opportunity for a disabled young man in a private company, taking into account the nature of his disability and abilities, which confirms the governorate’s belief in the importance of integrating people with disabilities into the labor market. A job opportunity was also provided for a newly graduated girl in a private company, which contributes to alleviating her burden and helping her start her working life.
The governor’s attention did not escape the service issues that concern citizens, as he directed the governorate’s engineering department to examine the complaint of a citizen harmed by the closure of a street in the village of Tamda and to take the necessary legal measures to open the street and remove any obstacles that hinder the movement of traffic and citizens.
The governor also directed the engineering department, in coordination with one of the road professors and the competent authorities, to study the possibility of constructing calm bumps in front of the University Hospital in Benha, out of concern for the lives of citizens, as a citizen filed a complaint about being affected by the speed of cars and the multiple lanes in this area, which led to the death of his wife while crossing the road.
The Governor of Qalyubia confirmed that these meetings come in implementation of the directives of the political leadership regarding the necessity of continuous communication with citizens and working to solve their problems, indicating that the governorate is making every effort to provide a decent life for citizens and improve the level of services provided to them. The governor also stressed the importance of cooperation between citizens and executive agencies to achieve comprehensive development and improve the level of services provided to citizens.
This meeting confirms that the governorate is moving steadily towards achieving sustainable development, that it pays great attention to the social and economic dimension, and that it is working hard to provide a decent life for all citizens.
