Organized by the General Authority for Health Accreditation and Control branch In Luxor A workshop on how to apply Jahar’s radiology standards in hospitals, in cooperation with Shafa El Orman Hospital in Luxor, within the framework of the President of the Republic’s initiative: A New Beginning for Human Building.

Dr. Muhammad Al-Qaffas, Deputy Executive Director of Supportive Medical Services, presented a lecture on applying radiology standards, and Alaa Ahmed Kamel, Quality Management Supervisor at Orman Hospital, presented improvement projects.
Abdullah Mujahid, medical physics supervisor and radiation protection official, explained the methods and practices of radiation protection, as the Authority’s team toured the hospital’s radiology and radiation departments.
Accreditation and health oversight continue to apply the highest international standards in radiology in Luxor hospitals
The hospital’s service providers and the branch team participated in the workshop and discussion, represented by Dr. Michel Magdy, a member of oversight in the branch, Dr. Shaima Owais, a member of the technical support team in the branch, Dr. Alia Salah, customer satisfaction officer in the branch, and Dr. Hana Samuel, field operations coordinator in the branch.
This comes within the framework of the directives of Mr. Dr. Ahmed Taha, Chairman of the General Authority for Health Accreditation and Supervision, Dr. Nancy Abdel Aziz, Executive Director of the Authority, and Dr. Nahed Mohamed, Director General of the General Authority for Health Accreditation and Supervision, Luxor Branch, regarding the Authority’s role in educating the community and spreading the culture of quality by introducing GAHAR versions of National standards for health care quality internationally approved by ISQUA.
