Activating Egyptian-German scientific cooperation relations to advance treatment services using the best technologies

The leaders of the National Cancer Institute participated in: Cairo University In the field visit carried out by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Federal State of Germany, accompanied by a delegation from the oncology sector at university hospitals.

Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq, President of Cairo University, stated that the participation of the leadership of the National Cancer Institute at the university, in this visit, accompanied by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, comes within the framework of Cairo University’s keenness to implement the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the development of medical education, scientific research, and health care. In the field of oncology in university hospitals, especially in the context of preparations for the start of operation of the new National Cancer Institute 500 500, and in implementation of the initiative of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, for human development.

Dr. Mohamed Abdel Muti Samra, Dean of the National Cancer Institute, Dr. Dalia Qadri, Director of the Institute’s Hospitals, and Dr. Hatem Abu Al-Qasim, Rapporteur of the Executive Committee of Hospital 500500, visited major German companies specialized in the field of health care and medical equipment for operating rooms, intensive care and sterilization, and diagnostic and therapeutic radiology devices. And laboratory equipment in order to learn about the latest diagnostic and therapeutic techniques in the field of oncology treatment and training programs for technical personnel working in hospitals.

They also participated in several meetings with the leaders of the leading German university centers in the diagnosis and treatment of oncology, in order to activate joint Egyptian-German scientific cooperation, in order to advance oncology services and scientific research in university hospitals in conjunction with the start of operation of the new 500 National Cancer Institute Hospital in Sheikh Zayed in accordance with the latest standards. Global and using the best technological techniques used in the field of oncology treatment.
