This came during the celebration of the return of Al-Nasr Automotive Manufacturing Company to production, in the presence of Engineer Mohamed Shimi, Minister of Public Business Sector, Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, and Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo. Localization of the automobile industry in Egypt

He stressed that this step reflects the state’s interest in reviving national companies, supporting the Egyptian industrial sector, and supporting the national economy, in line with Egypt Vision 2030.
The minister pointed out that the agreement between the Ministries of Transport and the Public Business Sector to manufacture these buses at Al-Nasr Company; It is one of the strong pillars for the company to achieve a major breakthrough in the field of bus manufacturing, adding that this contract reflects the extent of the interest of the Egyptian government, represented by the Ministry of Transport, in raising the efficiency and development of national companies working in the field of manufacturing and operating land transportation, as this contract is part of the comprehensive development plan that It was announced by the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport, which aims to raise the efficiency and develop its subsidiaries, including companies working in the field of land transport, in a way that contributes to improving the passenger experience and upgrading the level of services provided, in order to ensure that these companies return to their previous era in the field of leadership in passenger transport within the country. Republic.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Transport, represented by the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport, cooperates with all local bus manufacturing companies, as within the framework of this plan it has signed other contracts with specialized local companies to manufacture and supply a large number of modern buses that are characterized by high technical and technological specifications.
