I saw the streets of a city LuxorThis Saturday morning, the Youth Phenomena Initiative was launched to combat negatives, including excessive speed, which caused many motorcycle accidents and the loss of many of Luxor’s youth because of them.
Deputy Governor of Luxor launches the Zawaher Initiative to combat negativity
Dr. Hisham Abu Zeid was keen to be present among citizens in public squares, traffic lights, and streets on foot, accompanied by the youth of the Dhawirat Initiative, in order to educate citizens about the danger of reckless driving and excessive speed on their lives and their families.
The Deputy Governor of Luxor spoke with many motorcyclists and car drivers at traffic lights in order to advise and educate them, and distributed some awareness posters to them, as well as giving them some medals that remind them of speed control phenomena.
Welcome from citizens and tourists
The Deputy Governor of Luxor was met with a warm welcome from citizens in the streets, who praised Dhawahir’s initiative, which would preserve their lives and their families.
The Deputy Governor of Luxor explained the initiative to a group of tourists who listened to it with interest, thanking the Deputy Governor and the youth of the initiative.
Participating with the Deputy Governor of Luxor were Major General Ali Al-Sharabi, Mayor of Luxor City, Dr. Salah Rashwan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Pastor Armanius, Pastor of the Church of the Virgin Mary.
It is worth noting that the Phenomena Initiative is a youth initiative that enjoys the support and sponsorship of the Governor of Luxor, the Deputy Governor of Luxor, and many government agencies and institutions. It aims to fight negative phenomena in society gradually by presenting negativity and working on it through awareness and guidance during the month in the streets, seminars, lectures, and workshops.
