It witnessed 10 residential areas within the city AswanOn Saturday morning, drinking water continued to be interrupted due to the Water and Sanitation Company carrying out repair work on the Al-Jazeera sewage station’s flushing line.
Drinking water is scheduled to return to the regions after the completion of repair work on the Al-Jazeera sewage station’s discharge line at 12 noon today, Saturday.
Cut off the water
The areas where drinking water has been cut off since yesterday, Friday, at 10 p.m., include: (All of Nasiriyah, all of Al-Sadaqa, Ard Al-Jumaili, Al-Nafaq, Al-Shader, Al-Suwaiqa, College of Engineering, Al-Kassara, Hajj Allab, and the entire island).
It is worth noting that, through its official page on the social networking site “Facebook,” the Aswan Water and Sanitation Company advised citizens residing in those aforementioned areas to manage their water needs during the outage period.
